Job Summary
Compass Care is seeking energetic, entrepreneurial Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Clinical Team! This team is responsible for identifying and coordinating needed services as dictated by the medical treatment plan, nursing assessment and the client environment, with the end result being exceptional care for each client. Qualifications
What We Seek In Our RNs:
- Current NY nursing license
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in home care/home health care
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to support caregivers in the field.
- Ability to work independently as needed.
- Experience with older adults and in-home care.
- Institutional experience and experience with dementia are a plus.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to travel throughout Compass Care service areas. Travel may include, but is not limited to, driving, public transportation, walking, stairclimbing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical field support and training of caregivers to ensure a high level of clinical awareness amongst our caregivers.
- Initial and ongoing client assessments
- Development of Care Plans for clients
- Regular visits and monitoring of clients
- Professional manner interfacing with clients, families, and physicians as needed
