NOW HIRING: Recreation Aide
Responsibilities of a Recreation Aide:
- Assist in developing and implementing recreational activities and programs for residents.
- Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities that foster social interaction and well-being.
- Set up and prepare materials and spaces for scheduled activities.
- Provide individualized attention to residents who require extra assistance or are unable to participate in group activities.
- Document resident participation and progress in recreational programs.
- Collaborate with the Recreation Director and other staff members to ensure a well-rounded and engaging activity calendar.
- Support residents in transportation to and from activities as needed.
Qualifications of a Recreation Aide:
- High school diploma
- Previous experience working with the elderly or in a similar role preferred.
- Serious applicants
