As an ER Technician or LVN you will provide high quality patient-focused health care services to all patients in collaboration with the physician and patient. Provides appropriate clinical documentation, maintenance of the aesthetics of the clinic, and oversight of operational standards. Also assists the physician/provider in carrying out physician provider delegated orders and tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains current Paramedic, EMT-P or LVN license in good standing
- Current BLS and able to obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire all through the American Heart Association
- Learn and become proficient in EPM and EMR.
- Maintains high level of confidentiality.
- Maintains appropriate clinical standards. Follows the policy and procedures as written in the Complete Care Policy and Procedure manual.
- Orders and maintains medications, lab materials, and other supplies necessary to perform the duties of this position. Also provides written notification to the other nurses at clinic, Medical Director, Practice Manager and other ancillary/administrative staff that supplies are in insufficient quantity in the clinic where shifts are being worked.
- Maintains and keeps up to date all clinical documentation including but not limited to narcotics log, sample medication logs, patient lab logs, compound medication logs, and quality control log for compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Complete and accurate documentation of all patient care data in paper form or EMR computer system.
- Effectively verify and communicate to patients lab results.
- Responds to health care needs based upon nursing standards; following policies and procedures to coordinate the utilization of healthcare and alternative levels of care.
- Performs various CLIA waived lab tests. If qualified, performs moderate complexity testing. Performs quality controls and maintains appropriate records/documentation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control of lab procedures, equipment and any other tests as regulated by CLIA/COLA guidelines and company policy.
- Follow appropriate HIPAA guidelines when providing any information on medical records to primary care provider, insurance carriers, referred providers and patients per patient request.
- Utilizes all equipment, supplies, facilities and resources of Complete Care in an ethical manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Current Paramedic, EMT-P, EMT- A, EMT B, or LVN license in good standing.
- Successfully pass criminal background check(s).
- Must have 1 to 2-years of experience.
- Active BLS prior to joining.
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA standards.
- Detail oriented with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with the public in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to escort or transport patient by wheelchair or stretcher when appropriate.
- Ability to work all shifts including day, evening and weekend hours as needed.
- Strong team player.
- Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
