Shipping Assistant
Job description
Job Summary: Assist Shipping Manager with shipping and receiving of materials
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Staging and loading of finished materials
· Unloading and storing of incoming materials.
· Clearing line of materials as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness.
· Operate motorized forklifts.
· Communicate effectively with others.
· Be productive by acting in a timely fashion.
· Maintain acceptable attendance record.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills, Abilities:
· Good math skills. Familiarization with Excell and Word. SAP knowledge is a plus.
Environmental Conditions:
Commercial assembly environment – temperature extremes, dust, and noise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour.
Monday - Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm.
Overtime as needed.
