Join our growing Accounting team! Compu Dynamics sits in the heart of one of the fastest growing data center markets in the country and is a recognized leader in that business. We are excited to be growing and have an immediate need for a Payroll Specialist in Northern Virginia.
Essential Functions:

- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Payroll Processing: collects and enters timekeeping information from Tech Tool and Service Management. Processes pay through Paylocity and Sage300 CRE; obtains supervisory approval of all timecard discrepancies; processes garnishment requests; processes direct deposit, W-2s and Year End calculations, and any other tasks associated with processing payroll.
- Records payroll transactions to the general ledger and reconcile monthly.
- Researches, tracks and resolves payroll problems.
- Assists accounts payable with invoices, including, but not limited to enter invoices in pending, sorting invoices for approval and finalizing invoice entry upon manager approvals.
- Mains cost accounting system.
- All responsibilities performed in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Provides timely and completed documentation of work performed.
- Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and/or equivalent of education and experience
- 3 years' experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Sage300 CRE experience preferred
Compu Dynamics Pay Range
Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
