Supply Chain Analyst

Pay range $25.00 to $27.00 per hour on W2 (all inclusive)
Type: Long-term Contract Role
Note: High possibility of contract extension or conversion to a full-time role.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for collecting, consolidating, reviewing, and reporting supply chain financial data, leading monthly forecasting processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, review, and report supply chain financial data from various sources within ERP and accounting system platforms.
- Lead monthly forecasting processes, partnering with cross-functional departments to prepare accurate financial projections and analyze variances to plan.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across the supply chain.
- Prepare and deliver regular and as-needed reports or visuals (charts, graphs, etc.), summarizing key findings and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payments and resolve any payment-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with Supply Chain Management (SCM) metrics.
- Forecast and analyze materials and sales deliveries.
- Identify opportunities for commonality between business management teams.
- Work closely with procurement agents to refine estimated delivery dates.
- Revise data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities, forecasting future spending, and aligning procurement plans with overall financial goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as material shortages, supplier issues, and logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance.
- Ability to apply statistical and analytical techniques to explore data sets, identify trends, correlations, and patterns, and extract actionable insights.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP/S4Hana and the Supply Chain suite of tools.
- Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management.
- CPSM or related certification.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
