CompuRay Medical is conducting a search for an experienced Travel Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist for an exciting opportunity to assist with diagnostic imaging procedures in a medical facility.
Overview :
As a Travel Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you will assist with organ and body scans, prepare and position patients accurately, and provide diagnostic aid in the performance of specialized imaging procedures. You will support interventional and therapeutic procedures, including complex vascular and non-vascular angiography, while ensuring patient safety, following radiation safety protocols, and complying with regulatory standards. This position requires flexibility, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with imaging procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ and body scans.
- Accurately prepare and position patients, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
- Monitor imaging protocols and recommend updates or refinements when needed.
- Perform all specialized imaging procedures, including angiography, complex vascular, non-vascular interventional, and therapeutic procedures.
- Assist the Radiologist / PA as needed during specialized procedures.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards, including radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Provide excellent patient care while maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
