A role you will love
The Settlement Specialist performs the daily functions necessary for the settlement of open market trades. Which requires a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and heavy interaction with our brokers and our clients ensuring that shares are moved accurately. Don’t let the details of the job deter you; it’s okay if you don’t know everything about this role. As-long-as you have the acumen to do the job, Computershare will engage you with an on-the-job approach to training. Equipment will be shipped directly to your house so you can be prepared for success. Also, if you were hoping for a Full-time position that gives you work-life balance, this position works M-F day shifts with the expectation that you will work in office some of the time.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Operates Depository Trust Company's (DTC) Participant Terminal System (PTS) to facilitate the daily settlement of millions of dollars of purchases and sales via the PTS delivery vs payment and receipt vs payment functions.
• Coordinates the daily settlement payments for non-DTC settlements.
• Reconciles daily settlement dollars and share positions to ensure timely and accurate settlements.
• Facilitates daily resolutions of out of balance situations arising from the above listed duties and responsibilities.
• Communicates effectively with brokerage community and internal/external clients.
• Works directly with DTC in reinvesting a portion of their dividends in Dividend Reinvestment Plan that we administer.

Compensation. The base pay range for this role is $34,000 - $52,000. This base pay range is a national average may not be applicable to other locations.
