Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate major IT infrastructure initiatives for our client, with a strong emphasis on a large-scale user migration project. This role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple IT infrastructure and security teams, including staff from various areas of the organization. The Project Manager will oversee the synchronization of workstreams such as Windows servers and desktop support, file storage, access management/credentialing, and end user device support. You will be responsible for mapping the project lifecycle, managing communications, and providing regular status updates to leadership.
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain a centralized project management framework for all project workstreams.
· Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
· Create and manage project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths for infrastructure deployments.
· Facilitate regular stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across technical teams.
· Manage release cycles and deployment calendars across server, network, and cloud environments.
· Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers affecting project timelines.
· Establish standardized communication channels between technical teams and stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for project status and updates.
Requirements
· Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
· Experience coordinating technical teams across multiple IT domains.
· Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with interdependencies.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab).
· Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, cloud services).
· Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management.
· Experience with change management processes in enterprise environments.
Personnel Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
· At least ten (10) years of experience in full SDLC for all task order applications and technologies.
· Familiarity with Agile methods, DevOps preferred.
· At least seven (7) years of experience as a program manager or
· program consultant.
· PMI Certification and/or Agile program management certification
preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
