JOB TITLE: S.T.R.I.V.E Paraprofessional

TYPE OF POSITION: Classified

HOURS: 33.75 hrs per week/school year

REPORTS TO: Supervising Classroom Teacher and Building Principal

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to adapt and be flexible to formats within the educational procedure of community based instruction and inclusive teaching models
• Able to perform job duties without supervision
• Be able to establish rapport with staff and children; ability to maintain discipline; possess tact; courtesy; and good judgment
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Pass the Parapro test, be Parapro certified, OR have 60 hours of college credit
