What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometrist position at Concord Family Vision?
We are looking to hire a full-time optometrist for our busy optometric practice in the heart of downtown Concord, NH. Concord, the capital of NH, has an incredibly quaint downtown and is perfectly located between the beach to the East, mountains to the North and Boston to the South.
As a family-oriented practice located in the same building for over 100 years, our optometrists have been taking care of patients for generations. There is mixture of routine and medical eye care. Our office was recently renovated with all newly equipped exam rooms, testing equipment and boutique optical. Our philosophy is we work as a family and not a factory to provide the best care for our patients. We would also consider part time.
Benefits below are listed for full time OD.
• Flexible 36-40 hour work week. Could work 4 longer days and have 1 day off during the week or 5 shorter days.
• No late evenings or weekends.
• 3 weeks vacation time to start, increases to 4 weeks PTO after 1 year.
• Full-time providers make between 170K-200K .
• Office is currently scheduled out 3-4 months in advance so a new provider will be guaranteed a full schedule from start date.
• Patients are scheduled every ½ hour.
• Well trained front desk staff and technicians to do pretesting.
• New providers are scheduled every 1 hour the first few days, then every 45minutes and then every 30 minutes to ease into the flow of the practice.
• Equipment: Humphrey VF machine, Cirrus OCT, Clarus Fundus Camera, Zeiss Forum software, and a dry eye specialty equipped with meibography, TearCare and Lumenis OptiLight.
• 5 Federal Paid Holidays (NY Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas).
• Health Insurance (Concord Family Vision pays 70%, Employee pays 30%).
• Paid Malpractice Insurance.
• Paid NHOA/AOA Dues.
• Continuing Education Stipend.
• 401K Plan with a nonelective contribution by Concord Family Vision.
• Paid Parking Downtown during working hours.
• Routine Eye Exams and 1 pair of glasses per year for employees.
• Routine Eye Exams and discounted glasses per year for immediate family members.
