Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager to join our Paoli location. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our retail store. This is a dynamic position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Sell products and services to meet sales goals and targets
- Stock shelves, merchandise products, and maintain visual displays to ensure a clean and organized store environment
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Assist in administrative tasks such as inventory management, scheduling, and reporting
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and managing a team of retail associates
- Manage customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving store performance
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required
- Strong knowledge of retail math principles and ability to perform basic calculations
- Proficiency in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
