- High school education or equivalent required
- At least two [2] year experience in a health care related environment recommended
- Computer skills: Word and Excel Spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily work load
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license. Reliable, independent means of transportation with vehicle insurance limits as established by the state
- Knowledge base of agency policies, federal and state regulations and third-party payers.
- Reviews incoming documentation for compliance and completeness
- Enters patient demographic and clinical data into current electronic medical record and software programs, as required
- Assists in preparing management reports and gathering relevant statistical data of patient’s information as requested
- Alphabetizes paperwork and files/uploads documents into the electronic medical record system appropriately
- Assists in maintaining schedules for staff, including field staff and triage/weekend workflow staff
- Documents and retains clinical meeting minutes as needed
- Generate and distribute patient information to physicians, patients, and other health-care providers to meet the Conditions of Participation.
