Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the position of Head Men's Soccer Coach. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and is located in River Forest, IL.
The Head Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for planning and directing the men's soccer program which includes recruitment of scholar athletes, practice and game management, overseeing assistant coaches, scheduling, budgeting, and promotion of the CUC sport. The men's soccer program should incorporate the Concordia University's mission and foster a Christian concern for the athlete's academic, athletic, social, and spiritual development.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Instructs, coaches, and develops student athletes while fostering an environment that is consistent with the values of the university
- Manages the annual competitive practice and game/event schedule, arranging facility reservations and travel details for the program
- Recruits student-athletes that contribute to the realization of the men's soccer program objectives academically, athletically, and spiritually
- Oversees individual workout plans for each athlete to maximize skill development and potential
- Oversees program inventory, purchasing, storage, and maintenance of the equipment and uniforms
- Ensures all insurance forms, athletic eligibility certificates, and end of season forms are filed in a timely manner with the Athletic Office
- Oversees summer camps, clinics, and other activities that support the program
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Experience Required:
3 to 4 years of head coaching experience required
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
