We are seeking a Dispatcher for our concrete plant. The minimum requirements include strong customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and knowledge of computers. Experience in sales and customer service is essential. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and have a hands-on approach. The salary and benefits package will be discussed during an in-person interview. The opportunity for overtime is available.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the dispatch schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize logistics and transportation management systems to optimize routes and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch manager, customers, and operators to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and data entry tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling multi-line phone systems.
- Analyze transportation needs and assist in planning to enhance efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
