Summary
Produce precast concrete erection drawings and piece details from architectural/structural drawings and precast concrete design calculations on schedule that translate contract documents into usable information providing an accurate and effective communication link to ensure proper production, handling and placement of the material supplied by the company. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, the following:
Reads and understands architectural/structural drawings and specifications.
Produces erection drawings, production piece detail drawings, and material drawings for precast/prestressed products sold, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
Utilizes knowledge of various computer programs, engineering practices, production practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired.
Stays up to date on all issues, updates and progress of all assigned projects.
Produces robotic input files for production equipment.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Architectural Drafting or related field; and
- One year experience in drafting field; or
- an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- None Required
Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of CAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

Candidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements.
