Our well-established dental practice is currently seeking a highly motivated Dental Receptionist to join our close-knit team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
Responsibilities:
Greet and warmly welcome patients, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Efficiently manage patient appointments, scheduling, and reminders
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with dental team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing tasks efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is required - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including dental software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A friendly and welcoming demeanor that puts patients at ease
