Our client, a design-driven, contemporary luxury fashion brand is seeking a Staff Accountant with hands-on accounts receivable experience to support billing, payment application, reconciliations, and month-end close in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer billing and invoicing with accuracy and timeliness
- Apply and reconcile customer payments, including credit card transactions and bank deposits
- Maintain customer account records and resolve billing, payment, or chargeback discrepancies
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and support collection efforts for past-due balances
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and aging schedules
- Assist with accounting for uncollectible accounts, including reserves and related journal entries
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Contribute to documentation and improvement of accounting and AR processes
- Provide audit, reporting, and ad hoc finance project support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- Strong understanding of invoicing, payment application, and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; QuickBooks experience is a plus
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset
4x a week on-site in Beverly Hills
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
