The Senior Manager, HR Operations is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of HR services across the organization, specifically in the areas of Benefits, Payroll, Compliance and Reporting. This role ensures that HR processes, systems, and programs are optimized to support the business's strategic goals and enhance the employee experience. This position will lead a team of HR professionals, work cross-functionally with other departments, and implement HR best practices to drive operational excellence.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Benefits & Payroll: Manage the Benefits and Payroll functions and staff. Provide strategic direction and ensure compliance.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights into workforce trends, operational efficiency, and areas for improvement. Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership on HR performance and key initiatives.
- HR Systems & Technology: Oversee the implementation and optimization of HR technology platforms (e.g., HRIS, payroll, LMS, etc.). Ensure systems are user-friendly, secure, and support HR operations effectively.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including data privacy and reporting requirements. Proactively address compliance issues.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of HR operations professionals. Ensure that HR team members are trained, developed, and equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Drive the development, updating, and implementation of HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements. Ensure policies are communicated clearly to employees and managers.
- Budget & Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of HR services. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining a high level of service.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations, enhance employee experience, and ensure the HR function supports organizational goals effectively.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI SPHR) is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in HR operations or HR management, with a proven track record of managing teams and leading large-scale HR programs and projects.
- Extensive experience with benefits administration and payroll.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, manage projects, and influence key stakeholders. Ability to foster a strong team environment that is open and welcomes feedback.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and use them to inform decision-making.
- Experience managing HR operations in a large, multi-site organization.
- Advanced knowledge of HR technology platforms and digital transformation in HR.
- Proven experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.

Salary : $105,000 - $150,000
