Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on a high-profile integration project and requires a versatile individual capable of managing diverse network engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless integration and configuration of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and firewalls (Palo Alto, ASA).
- Provide Level 3 support and serve as an escalation point for network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches, Catalyst series, and other networking hardware.
- Manage and support multi-site data, VOIP, and VPN environments.
- Continuously monitor and enhance network performance using tools like SolarWinds.
- Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CCNP
- Experience: 5 years in network engineering roles within medium to large organizations (1000 employees).
- Strong expertise in routing protocols, LAN/WAN principles, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto firewalls, and security technologies like Cisco ISE and VPN solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds), wireless technologies (preferably Aruba), and VMware virtualization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage carrier circuits (MPLS, broadband, satellite) and troubleshoot packet captures.
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and handle after-hours support as needed.
