- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for a variety of commercial equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
- Provide high-level customer service.
- Actively participate in the NCCER Curriculum.
- Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
- Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies ,and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
- Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and in writing.
- Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
- Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
- Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
- Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps ,and air quality systems,
- Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
- Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and in writing.
- High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
- OSHA 10 Preferred
- EPA Certified
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
- Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Drive.
