Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Rodman position located in Tomball, TX. The Rodman will support land survey crews in performing fieldwork, including setting up and operating surveying instruments, assisting with measurements, marking locations, clearing obstacles, and ensuring the accurate collection of survey data. Other responsibilities may include maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate and assist with land surveying equipment, such as rods and measuring tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively assist surveying crew members
- Basic knowledge of land surveying techniques and methods
- Physical ability to work outdoors, manage challenging terrains, and perform hands-on tasks
- Commitment to following safety procedures and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in surveying are a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in land surveying or a related field is advantageous
