Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join a leading solar company in North Houston!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Occasional Saturday's)
Material Handler Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of material handling experience.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for 8 hours.
- Prior experience in roles such as a Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, Inventory Clerk, or Order Picker is a big plus!

Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software. Organize and store materials to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Fulfill orders by picking appropriate items from inventory and packing them securely for shipment to installation sites or other warehouses.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or containers using forklifts or pallet jacks. Ensure all items are securely loaded and properly documented.
- Conduct quality checks on materials and products to ensure they meet specifications and are in good condition before distribution.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling materials and operating warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Coordinate with other warehouse staff, logistics teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
