Job Description
The Hematology & Oncology Division strives to deliver bone marrow transplant clinical services to children that includes: stem cell therapies for leukemia, myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disease, solid tumors such as neuroblastoma and relapsed Wilms tumor, bone marrow failure syndromes, relapsed Hodgkin lymphoma, sickle cell disease and CAR-T infusions.Primary responsibility will be to provide leadership for the Advanced Cellular and Gene Therapy program which includes Clinical and Quality programs in BMT and Cell Therapy. The Medical Director will have accountability for the development and maintenance of the clinical, professional and administrative activities in conjunction with the Division Head and Practice Manager. The Medical Director supports the clinical team’s research, academic programs, faculty appointments, faculty development as well as having clinical responsibilities.
