What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Nurse position at Connecticut GI?
***This position is for two 8-hour shifts Wednesday and Thursdays 8:00am-4:30pm in our Greenwich Infusion Center with the potential for per diem coverage in our Bridgeport Infusion Center.***
Connecticut GI is looking for a part-time Infusion RN to join our Greenwich Infusion Center. We are the largest gastroenterology practice in the state of Connecticut with 29 Care Centers and still growing. What You Will Do For Us:
- Schedule infusions, initiate and discontinue venous access, obtain vital signs
- Verify all insurance authorizations are up to date
- Reconstitute and prepare infusions for delivery
- Place orders for restock
- Perform and record inventory
- Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For In You:
- Possession of a current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- (3) Years of professional nursing experience in a hospital or outpatient surgical center.
- Proficient IV skills.
- Proficiency in evaluating cardiac rhythms.
- CPR certification.
- Detail oriented and flexible in nature.

- Outpatient

Education:
- Master's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Nursing: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Active RN license (Required)
