Senior Estimator
Estimate the most complex and large-scale jobs, ranging from $50 million and above, including conceptual estimates, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor relations and staying up-to-date on industry developments applicable to estimating. Assist preconstruction with constructability and document reviews, prepare quantity take-offs, and participate in business development activities, presentations and interviews. Oversee a team of up to six Assistant/Estimators, if applicable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly developed sense of professional ethics.
- Ability to work on and manage a team, as well as independently.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and create efficiencies.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to identify project risks and plan/take action as needed.
- BS or MS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
- 10 - 15 years' experience in the construction estimating field.
- Proven track record of estimating for projects $50M .
- Proficient in specialized estimating software.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
