Consolidated Asset Management Services, LLC ("CAMS") seeks an experienced environmental professional to lead air permitting efforts and support multi-media environmental compliance for industrial facilities located throughout the US. This role involves state and federal air regulatory review, compliance program development, and managing applications for Minor New Source Review (NSR), Title V Federal Operating Permits, Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), and Non-attainment New Source Review (NNSR).
Additional responsibilities include conducting environmental audits, managing due diligence projects, evaluating regulatory impacts of operational changes, wastewater permitting, and providing technical guidance on waste management and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The role ensures compliance with environmental regulations through inspections, reporting, and incident investigations. Industry or consulting experience in power, oil & gas, chemicals, or refining is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide environmental consulting for industrial sectors, including air/wastewater permitting, waste management, sustainability, and compliance auditing.
- Manage and complete New Source Review (including dispersion modeling support) and Title V applications.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations across multiple facilities.
- Develop, implement, and review policies, standards, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
- Track regulatory developments and operational changes, communicating potential impacts to operations and asset management teams.
- Interface with regulators, coordinate inspections, and manage permit processes and compliance reports.
- Support ESG programs and reporting.
- Lead technical projects from proposal through completion.
- Conduct facility audits to ensure regulatory compliance and assess operational changes.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Practice and promote a safe and compliant work environment.
- Prepare regulatory reports and manage contractors/vendors with delegated compliance tasks.
- Assist with budget planning and expense management for compliance activities.
- Travel up to 25%, including out-of-state.
