Job Description
Consolidated Solutions is searching for an experienced creative and detail-oriented designer to join our growing Creative Services team. In this role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for graphic design projects that will be used in physical print form or for electronic distribution. Initial responsibilities will include the development and promotion of solutions through strategic use of social media and the ongoing design maintenance of the CS website. You will create visually compelling assets that enhance brand awareness, support product marketing efforts, and drive lead generation. Collaboration with team members will be essential as you contribute to the production of both digital and print materials that are on-brand and aligned with campaign objectives. Additional responsibilities include photography, retouching, color correction, catalog layout and graphic design for clients.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong passion for design and a commitment to continuous learning—particularly in emerging marketing and design technologies. A proactive problem-solver, quick learner, brings creativity, adaptability, and attention to detail to every project.
Requirements including the following skillsets for this position:
3 years of experience in programs such as,
o Adobe InDesign
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
o Acrobat
3 years of experience in web-based programs such as,
o WordPress
o MailChimp
o Survey Monkey
• Strong work ethic
• Design, and create in a fast-paced environment for internal and external projects
• Experience with content media for Instagram and LinkedIn as well as additional social platforms to help market the company and projects.
• Able to troubleshoot WordPress and navigate new plugins to enhance our site.
• Experience or familiarity with HTML coding
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including formulas)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of marketing/design focused work
• Excellent understanding of layout, typography and color theory.
The Creative Marketing Designer should also expect to perform the following:
• Follow best practices around development, proofing, design, quality, and presentation.
• Continuing to expand marketing and design knowledge and expertise
• Use creative/marketing skills to solve complex problems and requirements
• Demonstrate passion for elegance and efficiency in design and marketing
• Implement and analyze tracking metrics collected within the CS website, social media, and MailChimp – then create reports to present the data.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Develop and maintain design template library
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across channels.
• Design and produce marketing collateral (internal and external) such as, email campaign templates, social media graphics and posts, landing pages for CS website, booklets and presentations.
