Continental Siding is looking for a highly motivated individual seeking a long-term career, with the market's top home improvement company.
Job Purpose: This position is primarily responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders, sales orders, transfer orders, and company policy
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or until daily tasks are completed.
Wage: $18-$21 per hour, dependent on the candidate's skills and experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Learn and possess a thorough knowledge of warehouse inventory items.
- Receive, inspect, and store all standard stock and special-order materials.
- Load materials onto a truck to be sent out for delivery.
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse through organization and cleanliness.
- Assist with complete inventories as well as cycle counts.
- Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Possess basic knowledge of barcoding procedures
- Possess general knowledge of warehouse and inventory practices
- Ability to count and inspect materials accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-minded
- High School Diploma or equivalent
