What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Night Shift position at ContinueCare Hospital Paducah?
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA/PCT and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
NIGHT SHIFT 6:45PM-7AM Block Scheduling, know your schedule months in advance. Eight days off in a row every 6 week schedule. Only work one weekend Shift a month
Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in Kentucky BLS is required upon hire and ACLS within 90 days of hire. Experience working in an acute care environment and critical care experience preferred.
