Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Clinician

The REST Center: Rapid Evaluation and Stabilization Treatment. A new level of care and 23hour Crisis Stabilization Home. The location is New Haven, CT.

Description: Connecticut's first ever of it's kind, The REST (Rapid Evaluation, Stabilization, and Treatment) Program is an innovative, community-based 23-hour program. As a new model of care, The REST Program serves as an alternative to the Emergency Department of the local hospital for police and first responders. Clinicians will be able to practice with creativity and autonomy while working in a home-like, living room environment that is recovery-oriented and client-centered. As a 100% grant funded program, clinicians also have the benefit of caring for their patients without adhering to the pressures of meeting billing quotas!

Scope of Service: Completes screenings and intake process for new client referrals and functions as liaison for incoming referrals with clinical and external providers. Conducts ongoing face-to-face encounters while providing comprehensive planning and active supports based on unique needs of each individual. Completes, submits, and monitors records based on fidelity, federal funding, or other contracting requirements. Seeks and obtain preauthorization and reauthorization of services. Networks with area community providers and provides case management supports for the benefit of the clients. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Summary: Provides a comprehensive array of direct clinical services to adults and families with mental health, intellectual and/or addiction disorders. Counsels and provides psychotherapeutic and rehabilitation services in individual and group settings to facilitate independence with identified treatment goals toward symptom management. Carries a clinical case load as assigned, coordinates services, including assessments and triage of clients. Performs other duties as assigned. EOE

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a minimum of one (1) year experience working in the behavioral health field required.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a minimum of one year (1) experience working in the behavioral health field preferred.
  • Prior experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or addiction.
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean record is required and must be maintained.
  • Knowledge of the community support system and resources is preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Employee is responsible to maintain ongoing certification.
  • Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.

The following Clinician positions are available with the following payrates listed below:

Part time and Per diem avaliable

LMSW, LPCA Rate: $37.14.

LCSW, LPC Rate: $39.40

  • FT 40 hours Tuesday - Saturday 4pm -12am
  • PT 16 Hours Sunday/Monday 8am-4pm

Pay: $37.13 - $39.40 per hour
