Saw Operator Needed in the Great State of North Carolina

Location: Statesville, NC

Pay Range: $17.50-$19.50/hr. (based on experience.)

Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible)

40hrs/wk. (ability to work overtime, when needed)

Day-to-Day

• Safely process materials through EWP saw
• Assist with building loads for transport
• Place materials in job staging area
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as required by management
• Identify needed maintenance on equipment

Skill Set:

• Great Attitude and a Team Player
• Ability to comprehend and communicate procedures
• Display a willingness to comply with and maintain all safety training and policies
• Ability to accept direction and be manageable
• Ability to continuously handle, on average, 55 pounds at any given time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, turn, stretch, push and/ or pull different materials (I-joist-LVL/LSL Beams) repeatedly
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to satisfactorily complete Contract Lumber’s forklift certification program
• Be able to tolerate working environments in extreme temperatures
• Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic math problems
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Hardworking, Motivated, Responsible
