Position Summary:
The Junior (JR) HVAC maintenance technician has the primary responsibility of maintaining the HVAC systems at CPC's facilities. This is a full-time position, day shift.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment including filters, belts, pullies, lubrications, etc.
- Monitor and inspect heating and cooling systems at multiple company-maintained facilities to ensure continued proper operation.
- Order, pickup and delivery of parts required for HVAC systems using company provided van.
- Investigate heating and air conditioning complaints; assists with repairs and installations of HVAC units and ductwork.
- Clean and change filters on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Demonstrate proper safety practices and procedures while installing, designing, troubleshooting and servicing HVAC systems.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED degree required.
- Must have technical school HVAC training, with hands on experience.
- Environmental Protection Agency, EPA Section 608 certification.
- Type I, II, III Certification a plus.
Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of heating and cooling systems.
- Excellent work ethic with ability to organize and schedule work responsibilities independently.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of hand tools.
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, bend, sit, talk, hear and/or walk for long periods of time. They employee may climb up and down step ladders and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Work environment in production operations facilities include proximity to heavy machinery and pharmaceutical powders, with exposure to loud noises.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions year round.
- Potential to move between production operations sites/areas to complete job functions.
- Hours/Travel maybe subject to changed based on management/company discretion.

Personal Protective Equipment or Attire Required for Position:
- Gowning as required by pharmaceutical regulations and/or company procedures
- Additional PPE, including gloves, proper foot-ware, masks, safety glasses and hard hats may be required
