Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, alteration, addition and/or repair of electrical systems.
As our Journeyman Electrician, you should be able to:
- Perform all electrical tasks with general supervision
- Read blueprints
- Understand and be familiar with rough-in work
- Install feeders
- Size wire and conduits
- Install and terminate switchgear and devices
- Prepare layout for installation, including underground layouts and rough-in
- Comprehend electrical theory and NFPA 70 National Electric Code
If you have experience in the following, it’s a plus:
- Install, troubleshoot and terminate control wiring per drawings
- Troubleshoot motors and controls
- Fire alarm systems (with current fire alarm license)
