Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Manager located in Suffolk, VA. The Service Manager will oversee daily service operations, manage the service team, schedule maintenance and repair work, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include coordinating with other departments, maintaining service records, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Service Manager will also be involved in training and mentoring service staff.
Must have Skills if any:
- Prior forklift service experience. Forklift mechanical skills. Office experience. Service software experience (we use Tinnacity). Employee retention and development.
Qualifications
- Forklift service experience is required.
- Experience in managing service operations and supervising a team
- Skills in scheduling, maintenance coordination, and customer service
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed service records
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to train and mentor service staff
- Relevant technical certifications or a background in engineering is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
