Lot Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the lot is organized, vehicles are detailed and prepped, and all cars are handled with care. This position requires a strong focus on hospitality, effective communication skills, and the ability to drive various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly as they arrive and assist them with parking their vehicles.
• Safely drive and park customer vehicles in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot, ensuring all vehicles are parked correctly.
• Detail and clean vehicles to prepare them for customer test drives and for final delivery to clients.
• Ensure vehicles are ready and in top condition before sales appointments.
• Assist with retrieving vehicles for customers upon request, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates on vehicle status.
• Provide valet parking services as needed, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
• Be proactive in identifying potential issues within the lot and addressing them promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, automotive, or customer service is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred to serve our diverse customer base.
• Ability to detail vehicles to a high standard.
• Mechanical skills or basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus and will be highly valued.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience as a delivery driver, detailer, or valet attendant is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
