What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Behavioral Health Therapist position at Conway Regional?
The Behavioral Health Therapist will be responsible for coordinating treatment for psychiatric patients and their families; this includes individual and group and family therapy, treatment planning, psychosocial history and therapeutic interventions and psychotherapeutic behavioral management.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of
Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to
Patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and
supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with license or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or another Behavioral Health related field.
One (1) year of experience working with individuals with potential substance abuse and mental health disorders. (includes internships)
