Summary: We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies. Initially, the candidate will work onsite in Richmond, VA, 3-4 days per week during a three-month probationary period, with the potential for a largely remote work arrangement thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Create application and solution architectures, component designs, and system integrations for business solutions.
- Lead efforts in defining, documenting, and estimating enterprise application requirements.
- Capture requirements for data, workflows, logical processes, and system inputs/outputs.
- Collaborate with IT staff to translate business needs into automated solutions.
- Produce solution design artifacts, including technical estimates and system designs.
- Coordinate new system development for integration with existing systems and COTS solutions.
- Analyze feasibility and compatibility with hardware and consult with clients to design applications.
- Collaborate with business areas and Enterprise Architects for strategic consultation.
- Partner with architects and technical teams to develop roadmaps and strategies.
- Design and implement Enterprise Security/technology Patterns.
- Provide tactical direction and architecture considerations on legacy solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with SAFe architecture and Agile/Scrum teams.
- Proven experience in developing enterprise and solution-level architectural designs.
- Experience in linking cross-functional applications between disparate business units.
- Expertise in business and technical requirements analysis, and business process modeling.
- Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
- Project management skills and exposure to project lifecycle models.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices.
- Competency with XML constructs and schemas.
- Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
- Understanding of end-user needs and organizational goals.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
