Manufacturing Operations Lead

We're a lean, fast-moving startup specializing in panel manufacturing for commercial refrigeration. Our mission is to modernize and streamline the way panels are designed, produced, and delivered—bringing precision, efficiency, and innovation to an industry ready for transformation.

As we scale production and build out our supply chain, we're looking for an Manufacturing Operations Lead to be the backbone of our daily operations. You'll help optimize manufacturing workflows, manage vendor and logistics relationships, track inventory, and implement processes that ensure on-time delivery and top-tier quality.

This is a hands-on role with big impact. You’ll be joining at a foundational stage, with the opportunity to shape systems, set standards, and help build a company from the ground up as we scale. Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate product and process documentation
• Train and support workshop peers on operational procedures and best practices
• Manage day-to-day production activities and ensure timely order fulfillment
• Oversee inventory levels and material usage to support production schedules
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and quality
• Drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget
• Lead a small team , counsel and coach team members.
• Enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and ensure compliance
• Ensure that the day-to-day activities, goals, and problems of the organization are communicated to the Operations Leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience
• 2 years of Supervisor experience
• 2 years of direct experience working within manufacturing operations and leading by example; capable of helping to train other manufacturing technicians
• Experience in inventory management, kanban systems, and cycle counts
• Experience in continuous improvement
• Forklift certified is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team environment through all levels of the organization

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Proficient with Google Suites (google docs, google sheets)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with and knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety Standards with a shown dedication to safety
• Startup experience would be ideal but not required

EXTRA PLUS: hands on experience in Structural Insulated Panel manufacturing or relatable industries.

Work Hours: 7:30 to 4:00pm (Monday through Friday).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
