Job Goal: Identify, register and facilitate educational and social supports available for eligible migrant students and family members living within the Coolidge Unified School District.

Terms of Employment: 40 hours per week/10 month contract (Based on Grant funding job assignments may cover one or both areas.)

Knowledge of:
- Community and surrounding geographic area
- Relevant community resources for migrant services
- Local culture, customs, and family lifestyles within target
- Basic computer skills adequate to maintain state data requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Skills in:
- Bilingual (Translation) capability (oral and written)
- Organization skills sufficient to maintain target population data
- Basic computer skills including Word, Publisher, Internet Access,
- Case Management techniques
- Collaboration/negotiation skills
Ability to:
- Be a team player
- Log daily activities
- Relate to migrant families
- Collaborate with migrant’s employers, school employees, and
- Maintain detailed/timely records/reports as required
- Travel throughout the District as needed
- Work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to attend all required trainings

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required For Entry Into Position:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Pass a background clearance and fingerprint check
- Experience with migrant/indigent/diverse populations
- Bilingual (oral/written) (English and Spanish)
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student, staff and District
