Short Description
Accurately and timely prepares all medications, including IV medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as per policy and regulation.Experience Required
- Pharmacy Technician National Certification (PTCB) or > 10 years Pharmacy Hospital experience
- Current NJ registration (or eligible upon hire).
- Able to complete basic pharmaceutical calculations.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
License/Certification Requirements
- Must registered with the NJ Board of Pharmacy during the first 10 days of employment.
- Must complete the registration with the NJ Board of Pharmacy and become an active licensed Pharmacy Technician within 180 days of hire.
