Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Ohio-licensed Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including but not limited to securities law, environmental law, family law, immigration law, and tribal law regulations. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills and the ability to litigate effectively on behalf of clients. The Attorney will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
- Provide legal counsel to clients on a range of issues including securities law, environmental law, family law, immigration law, and tribal law regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal matters, advocating for their interests effectively.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop comprehensive strategies for client representation.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases or business operations.
- Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and provide guidance throughout the legal process.
Skills
- Proficiency in bankruptcy law is required is preferred.
- Strong research skills with experience using Lexis-Nexis or similar legal research tools.
- Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail in written communication.
- Proven litigation skills with experience representing clients in court settings.
