What are the responsibilities and job description for the CE- HEAD LIFEGUARD position at Coppell, City of (TX)?
As a City of Coppell Head Lifeguard, you will serve as support staff to the CORE Manager, Aquatics Supervisor, and Aquatics Coordinator in ensuring facility safety. You will provide an excellent customer experience, interact with children and adults to resolve complaints or conflict, and interpret and enforce facility safety rules. As well as, lead a team of lifeguards in serving the community to recognize and respond to emergencies in the facility, and will be and example, a leader, and a coach for staff. You will also assists with the maintenance of pool filtration and testing of water samples.

Must be at least 17 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent required
Two years of aquatics-related experience required
One year of swim lesson experience is preferred
Ellis & Associates lifeguard certification is required and provided on site. Must be able to complete the following prerequisites in order to obtain an Ellis & Associates Lifeguard license:
200-yard swim
Retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the bottom of the 12 ft. pool (feet first)
Tread water for 2 minutes with no hands
CPO or AFO preferred
The Head Lifeguard report directly to the Aquatics Coordinator and indirectly to the Aquatics Supervisor.
