Position Summary: Provide Administrative Secretarial support to Director of Imaging Services and the Imaging Department. Performs and provides secretarial and Administrative support services such as preparing reports, processing correspondence, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, and conducting special projects as assigned. Receives incoming requests for services. Demonstrates good public relations skills in dealing with physicians, patients, visitors and staff.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities
General office clerical skills, good communication skills (writing and verbal).
Excellent Customer Service Skills in order to project a positive image of the department and hospital.
Command of the English language with ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, peers, etc. Basic computer skills. Medical Terminology experience preferred.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year experience in physician office or hospital environment required.
