Core Responsibilities As SVP, IR Advisory, you will serve on our team that leverages proprietary research and analytics, a best-practice mindset, executional excellence, and a proven model to advise public and pre-IPO companies globally on strategic investor relations and investor communications with the goals of building more durable franchises, mitigating risk and supporting relative outperformance, and driving sustained shareholder value. You will oversee client strategy, lead the framing and execution of client deliverables that support the investor relations (IR) function and provide insight-driven perspective to C-suite executives, Boards, and IR leaders on the full range of public company matters, including advising on earnings and guidance, strategy, capital deployment, investor relations, M&A, activist defense, and other capital markets areas.Reporting to the CEO and Founder, you will partner with senior leadership, business development, and client-facing advisors across our enterprise to translate market and valuation insights into strategies that strengthen client relationships and enhance commercial outcomes. General ResponsibilitiesServe in a leadership position to both direct and indirect teams that support multiple client relationships on an ad hoc and annual retainer basisDemonstrate a deep understanding of Wall Street and key business and investment drivers, with the ability to deliver actionable insights and client-tailored advice, feedback, and deliverablesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key and new clients and stakeholdersServe as a trusted advisor by driving client direction in all areas of strategic communications for capital markets, with consideration of broader business strategy and best practicesDevelop and execute strategic and effective investor communication approaches that create competitive advantage in the face of changing business, sector, market, and/or macro conditionsSupport client’s investor relations efforts, including developing strategy, reviewing financial communications materials, and serving as a subject matter expertDevelop and present recommendations based on financial analysis and modelling, research, strategic and creative thinking; provide a credible research- and experience-based point of view and perspectiveServe as a team lead on executing client Investor DaysFully participate in commercial development opportunities, including company research, presentation development, and pitchesServe as a key spokesperson and advocate for the organization by leveraging thought leadership, industry expertise, and strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reputation.Positively contribute to our culture and embrace The Corbin WayQualificationsWall Street buy side equity analyst, sell side research analyst, investment banking and/or investor relations, professional services / client consulting, agency and/or corporate experienceExceptional and demonstrated understanding of how strategy and business execution impact financial performance and value creationAbility to effectively architect and articulate investment theses, as well as convey strategic and financial messages in Street-facing communication materialsStrong financial acumen, including deep knowledge of capital markets, accounting and finance, financial modeling, financial disclosure, quarterly releases, shareholder activism, and the regulatory landscapeSignificant client relationship building, influencing, and management experienceExcellent organizational, as well as written and verbal communication skills; high comfort level with presenting to executive leadership and boards of directorsProven track record in planning, leading, and executing sophisticated programs and projects in high growth environmentsBachelor’s degree: CFA and/or MBA preferred10 years relevant work experiencePackage OfferCompetitive base salary and annual performance bonusComprehensive benefits package with the company covering approximately 66-80% of benefit premiums, depending on plan selection.(Medical, Dental Vision)Retirement plan with a company matchDiscretionary profit-sharing programSignificant opportunity for long-term career growth and professional development as we continue to scale Corbin is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace. Salary : $200,000 - $265,000
