Corbus is seeking an experienced business development professional with a proven record of success. This role will partner with our management team to accomplish annual and long-term growth strategies with current and new customers. In doing this, the Business Development Leader will build impactful relationships, execute delivery strategy and implement process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience in client-facing business development, account management and operational support responsibilities.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities with existing and new clients nationwide.
  • Apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for Corbus.
  • Approach selling from a business solution perspective to ensure that Corbus’ services accurately address the client's true business need in terms of type, scope, level.
  • Build and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure continuous population of immediate and long-term opportunities; analyze overall win rates and win/loss ratios.
  • Understand the overall strategic direction and assist in customizing solutions based on client needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and service offerings of the competition.
  • Work with internal teams to develop solutions to address the needs for innovation, automation, and additional value adds.
  • “Productize” the innovative processes Corbus has already implemented and take to market as part of our solutions offering.
  • Make suggestions to the management team regarding changes needed to support service offerings and process improvements which support the vision/strategy.

  • Experience selling internally and externally, identifying needs using a consultative approach, and developing customized solutions.
  • Customer focused with the ability to drive and develop a strategy/vision for an organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple aspects of role including business development, customer relationship management, and operational partnership.
  • Strong presentation skills ability to communicate effectively within groups of all sizes and levels, and a successful track record of closing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage communications and liaise between internal and external customers; ability to articulate strategy and solutions clearly and consistently.
  • Strong supplier relationships and customer relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends, industry participants, new technologies and business models.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, time-management, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Tech savvy.
