Junior Estimator Coordinator (Estimator Assistant) Role Summary: Supports the estimating department by managing bid coordination, document control, trade coverage tracking, and day-to-day estimating support to ensure accurate, on-time bid submissions. Key Responsibilities ● Bid / estimate setup and file organization (drawings, specs, addenda, scope notes, bid forms) ● Maintain clean file structures in server / Procore / SharePoint / Bluebeam Studio ● Track latest plan revisions ● Subcontractor and vendor outreach: build bid lists, send invitations/scope sheets, and follow up for coverage ● Schedule walkthroughs and distribute RFIs/clarifications to bidders ● Document control and addenda management: log addenda, confirm trade receipt, highlight key changes● Scope coordination and trade coverage tracking: identify bid gaps, organize proposals, support bid leveling and bid tabs ● Data entry and estimating support: assist with basic takeoffs, enter quantities/pricing, support alternates and unit rates ● Pre-bid and bid day support: coordinate internal deadlines, collect proposals, standardize naming, assemble bid packages ● Communication and scheduling: maintain logs of open items and calendars for due dates and submissions Typical Daily Deliverables ● Bid invite logs subcontractor coverage tracking ● Updated drawing logs and addenda logs ● Organized proposal collection folders with standardized naming conventions ● Bid tab / leveling spreadsheets ● Bid day checklist submission-ready bid package documentation Qualifications & Skills ● Degree related to construction management preferred but not required ● Strong organization and attention to detail ● Clear communication skills (email phone follow-ups) ● Comfortable reading drawings and specifications (ability to learn plan navigation quickly) ● Strong Excel skills (bid tracking, bid tabs, basic formulas) ● Familiarity with tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, PlanSwift/On-Screen Takeoff (helpful, not required) ● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow direction in a deadline-driven environmentCompany DescriptionCorcon is a nationwide solutions-based general contracting company that has been a leader in the industry for more than 25 years.
