Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Chicago suburbs (Schaumburg) that is searching for a VP/Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for the firm.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Candidate should have the following experience:
Salary: 150-175k
Onsite: Schaumburg, IL
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Financial statement preparation and General Ledger functions for the team
- Executive Committee duties
- Budgeting, forecasting, and working with team on strategic, long-term planning for the firm
- Banking and insurance relationships
- Maintenance of ERP system and other back office systems
- Tax and compliance activities
- Liaison for the year-end audit
- Inventory counts and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned in the back office
Candidate should have the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related function
- 10 years of corporate finance and accounting experience
- Experience in a growing company between $10-100 million strongly preferred
- Experience working with a growing company to help the back office scale is preferred
- Previous experience working through buy-side acquisitions preferred
- Experience working with a global company with operations outside the US preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a team
