The Maintenance Worker installs, maintains and repairsthe facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing,electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics,vehicles andgrounds.
Maintain / repair physicalstructure of facility in keeping with safe / secure operations of thefacility.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair machines andequipment.
Install / repair electrical apparatus such as wiring orelectronic components ofmachinery / equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment accordingto the preventative maintenance plan.
Qualifications :
High School diploma, GEDcertification or equivalent isrequired.
Two years of experience ingeneral maintenance or construction isrequired.
Additional equivalenttechnical / trade school courses in a maintenance or constructionrelated field may be substituted for the required experience on ayear-for-year basis.
Knowledge of buildingconstruction and the operation of building systems ispreferred.
A valid driver'slicense is required.
Minimum age requirement : Must be at least 18 years of age.
