The Human Resources and Operations Manager role is a strategic and hands-on position within a remote investor and public relations firm, designed for a seasoned professional with over five years of experience. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR analytics. They will utilize platforms like TriNet for streamlined HR processes and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership. The position demands a strong balance of people and process management, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to building a high-performance culture.
On the operations side, the manager will lead finance-related tasks such as contractor payroll, client invoicing via QuickBooks, and account reconciliation. They will play a key role in client onboarding, executive support—particularly for the CEO—and special projects aligned with company goals. Responsibilities include managing executive calendars, coordinating meetings, and overseeing communication between clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with technical proficiency in QuickBooks, Salesforce, Dropbox, and cloud-based HR systems, supporting both the firm’s operational efficiency and its strategic growth.
Candidate Profile:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· 5 years of progressive experience in HR and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
· Strong knowledge of HR best practices, and operational frameworks.
· Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal and written communication skills will be a key element for success in the position.
· Key attention to detail with Proven experience leading HR and operational transformations or scaling in growing organizations.
· Analytical mindset with a focus on results, systems, and continuous improvement.
· Proficient in QuickBooks, TriNet, Dropbox, and Salesforce with hands-on experience in finance, HR, and cloud-based CRM platforms.
